The contract is 4 by South after S opens 1 and rebids 2 . You get Q lead , so it looks pretty straight forward but you can go wrong!

Again this is about trump contol. Win the opening lead with the A, then cash A and K , then play on s. Your opponents can take two trump tricks and Aonly, as declarer can use yours to force out their winning trumps. Should you take the J finesse which loses, then W can force you with s and you lose control of trumps and go down.

In a pairs event we'd go down because the finesse is the natural play.
