Thr bidding proceeds as follows

S : 1; W: 1 ; N : 2 E: pass

S: 2NT; W pass,; N: 3NT; which becomes the contract

A bit ambitious, and W leads K, how do you get 9 tricks?

From the bidding it is likely that finessing s or s will lose and therefor the contract will go down. Duck the K♠ and win the ♠ continuation. Now play 2 rounds of s, noting the suit splits 2-2. You are now ready for a throw-in play. Lead 10 and W must win. W takes 3tricks in s, and is now end played, and has to lead away from either K or Kgiving you the 9th trick.. You can play off your three winning s but W might discard 8 and 7, 3 putting you on a guess? Not really
